The course present a simplified explanation of all the analysis methods used for delay analysis and determining the responsibility of each party in the contract practically. We will also cover some theoretical concepts that are essential in job interviews as well as during meetings.
Delay analysis methods have more than one school, and by the end of the course, you will know how to analyze through the SCL (Society of Construction Law), which is the most famous in the Gulf market especially, and the AACE-RP school. The RP study aims to provide a more comprehensive and broader clarification, but in the end, the methods are quite similar in both schools.
Target Audience
- Planning engineers withat least 5 years of experience in the field of planning and monitoring.
- The training program is not suitable for contract engineers but for planning specifically.
Requirements to know before starting the course:
- The trainee should have attempted or participated in at least one or two claims during their professional career for extending project time.
- The trainee should have sufficient experience working with Primavera software.
- It’s not a requirement to have sufficient knowledge of contracts.
Skills Acquired by the end of the course:
- Understanding different analysis methods used in the market through RP.
- Understanding analysis methods used in the market through SCL.
- If you were a consulting engineer, you would know how to analyze claims submitted by the contractor.
- If you work with the contractor, you will know how to prepare a claim and its proper components.
- Knowing what should be reviewed in the schedule before submitting it as a contractor and after submitting it as a consultant
